Waste Management Services (GESC)

Estidama
Estidama, meaning “sustainability” in Arabic, is the framework developed by the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council to ensure sustainable design, construction, and operation of buildings in the Emirate. It promotes energy efficiency, water conservation, material recycling, and improved indoor environmental quality through its Pearl Rating System. At GESC, we provide full Estidama consultancy services to help developers, contractors, and consultants achieve Pearl ratings, ensuring compliance with local regulations while delivering long-term environmental and financial benefits.
Green Building & Estidama
Green Building & Estidama consultancy focuses on integrating sustainability principles into the entire building lifecycle. This includes energy modeling, water efficiency planning, sustainable material selection, and indoor air quality enhancements. Our services help clients achieve Estidama Pearl ratings and align with international standards such as LEED. Pearl Construction Rating System Facilitation
The Pearl Rating System is a mandatory requirement for all new buildings in Abu Dhabi, with at least a 1 Pearl rating required for villas and 2 Pearls for government projects.
