Measurement of environmental and occupational noise levels using calibrated equipment to comply with legal thresholds and protect community and worker health. Noise survey is conducted in areas where noise exposure is likely to be hazardous. Noise level refers to the level of sound. A noise survey involves measuring noise level at selected locations throughout an entire plant or sections to identify noisy areas.Noise level monitoring will be conducted at identified locations using portable Digital Sound Meter. Sound Pressure Level (SPL) measurements (in dB) were performed utilizing Extech Sound Level Meter (European Class 1 Standard) complying with standards EU 93/68/EEC and IEC651 TYPE 2 ANSI S1.4 Type 2 in accordance to GESC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). A set of three readings were collected and an average of which will be reported.

Lux (Light Intensity) Monitoring
Measurement of light levels in indoor and outdoor environments to assess visual comfort, energy efficiency, and light pollution, particularly in sensitive ecological zones. Likewise, excessive levels of artificial light produce annoyance and can adversely affect health. These detrimental effects may depend on the spectrum as well as the overall brightness level of light. LUX level according to our national and international environmental standards.Light level monitoring will be conducted at identified locations using portable Digital Lux Meter. Light intensity monitoring will be performed by utilizing Extech light Meter in LUX in accordance with GESC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
